Do not forget that personal development means much more than just working on all of your skills. It also means working on who you are as a person. If you are religious, this can mean to work on your spirituality, and if you are not it means working on your inner peace.

Have a positive attitude. Remember that everything is a matter of perspective, and if you start from a positive place every morning, you can carry that around with you, and frame things in the proper way. Soon you will be able to handle problems in a much better way.

It is easy to forget that others are part of our personal development efforts. By making a conscious effort to treat others well, you will make it a priority to treat everybody else as well as you hope they would treat you!
